Ian Somerhalder Birthday Project- Amount Revealed!
Some of you may have heard of the wonderful project one of Ian's biggest fans, Nat from Blood Falls ,started. Saturday was the big night. The Ian Somerhalder Birthday Project came full circle, and the total amount raised by fans, in Ian's name, for a donation to St.Tammany's was revealed during the Unleashed event hosted by Ian!
Can you believe it?! $11,100!!! The power of a fandom is immense, and I am so happy to have been a part of such a wonderful gesture from the fans to Ian. Congrats to Nat, all the websites that supported her, and all the fans who participated!

I'm crying over my sandwich as we speak. No, seriously. No new episode of The Vampire Diaries until December 2nd!

Three lucky fans of The Vampire Diaries- Theressa, Stephanie, & Cynthia, avid environmentalists - sat down with the wonderful Ian Somerhalder a couple of weeks ago in Miami during the Hot Topic Event. The two videos highlight subjects which should be very important to all of us.
I kid you not, but way back when, Ian mentioned the water/brushing your teeth bit in his 7 things: Ian Somerhalder interview, and I've turned the water off ever since. Before that, I hadn't thought about it since my Barney and friends days, when Barney sang "So when I'm brushing my teeth and having so much fun, I never leave the water on!" Every little bit we do makes a difference. Don't we just love him for reminding us of this? *sigh*

Ian Somerhalder in Cosmo
So our darling Ian was featured in November's issue of Cosmo. Yes, I bought it for no other reason than to gaze at his beauty. Just look at these. UNF.
Of course, Ian is SO MUCH MORE than just a pretty face and the BTS vid from the shoot only makes me love him that much more.
