The Ian Somerhalder Foundation: Details on Its Launch and How You Can Help

By now, we all know that The Vampire Diaries fandom can be an amazing force for good, with fans showing incredible dedication and respect for Ian by contributing to projects such as Vampire Support and the Ian Somerhalder Birthday Project.

Ian Somerhalder Birthday Project- Amount Revealed!

Some of you may have heard of the wonderful project one of Ian's biggest fans, Nat from Blood Falls ,started. Saturday was the big night. The Ian Somerhalder Birthday Project came full circle, and the total amount raised by fans, in Ian's name, for a donation to St.Tammany's was revealed during the Unleashed event hosted by Ian!

Can you believe it?! $11,100!!! The power of a fandom is immense, and I am so happy to have been a part of such a wonderful gesture from the fans to Ian. Congrats to Nat, all the websites that supported her, and all the fans who participated!
